Fox Banquets Wedding in Appleton, WI // Nate + Morgan
Morgan and Nate's wedding began in Oshkosh at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church and ended the night in Appleton, Wisconsin at Fox Banquet & Rivertyme Catering. Their wedding was nothing short of personal by the way the wrote individual letters to each of their family members and bridal party to start their day. The two of them shared an intimate moment reciting their vows just to each other before the ceremony. Pastor released doves to symbolizing the start of their journey together. There were small reminders of the reality of a marriage, in that there will be hardships and tough times but they know they have a strong foundation to build upon.
They love their dog and a lot of what they do revolves around him. They enjoy going for family walks after work, playing cribbage, scrabble, or another board game while listening to their vinyl collection and enjoying craft beer. And it was actual the day of my birthday, January 29 (how perfect!) that they both had taken off of work to head to Madison for a few brewery tours, visit family and spend a nice, long weekend together. They went for a walk (as they often do) with Plop (their infamous bulldog pup) and Nate got down on one kneed a proposed. To top it all off, Morgan got a GoPro camera for Christmas and Nate had Plop wearing it during the entire proposal. According to them, Plop was a great cameraman!
When I asked them what they loved about each other here's their responses:
Morgan: I love that Nate always puts me first. I have never known a person that cares about me as much as him. I love that he makes me feel beautiful every day and that everything I do with him is better than when I am alone. I love that he believes in me, he empowers me to never give up on the things I want most.
Nate: It's easy to love the perfect woman. Everything I could do on my own is always more enjoyable with her. Morgan's kindness tends to lead her to put the needs of others before her own, which is an admirable trait to have in a best friend and wife.
Can't wait for them to spent a lot of firsts together, and I am sure without a doubt they are excited to spend the rests of their lives together and to share life’s challenges and hurdles together. From what I felt throughout the entire day, they have a lot of family and friends rooting for them for a lifetime to come! Congratulations again Nate and Morgan.
