Intimate Backyard Wedding at Red Mill Chapel in Wild Rose, WI // Carl + Alison
Carl and Alison had the most quaint wedding hidden in the woods at Red Mill Chapel in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. Just before the leaves started to change colors, their ceremony was filled with towering trees, and guests entered through a beautiful walking bridge. With a small white church as their backdrop, only family and very close friends witnessed these two share their sacred vows to each other, including their four year old son Wyatt. There was no bridal party, and they wanted to keep things very informal so all guests headed back to their house for a tent reception. Filled with so many delicious homemade goodies, the tables were packed with pies, pasta salads, bbq pork and all the fixings. We took a small detour because her grandfather’s farm was just across the road, and a special meaningful place for them both. So relaxed and casual throughout the entire day, it was the perfect backyard wedding for these two. Their wedding wouldn’t have been complete without a long standing tradition: tractor wagon rides, which took guests all over the acres are farming property they had. You couldn’t have asked for more of a special, quiet, meaningful day for Carl and Alison.
