Rock Garden Wedding in Green Bay, WI // Jordan + Kelli
Jordan and Kelli had the idea of simple farmhouse look for the wedding at the Rock Garden in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They wanted it to be simple, based on a party and celebration of the love for each other. They went with navy, dusty blue, white and greenery (sage and eucalyptus) to help pull off this look, with wooden, silver and white accents.
I met these Jordan and Kelli as they stood up in a wedding I photographed, over 5 years ago. I secretly waited for their engagement to finally arrive! It has been 10 years in the making since they met and finally made it official surrounded by their family and friends.
Kelli’s flowers had her late Grandmother’s handkerchief on it and Jordan wore St. Judd cuff links to honor Kelli’s cousin Michelle who beat her battle with cancer. They looked forward to celebrating with our friends and family. As they had waited a long time for their day, so a day centered around their love was amazing!
Kelli shared a bit more about their wedding planning: “A lot of people think that I should know everything that I want because Jordan and I have been together so long, but as long as he is happy and waiting for me at the end of the aisle that is all that matters to me. That is the moment that I want to remember the most. I also just want someone who is not pressuring me to do things their way. I know what I want my vision to be and I just need people to realize that it is finally MY day and I do want things that are just my own and not all hand-me-downs.”
