Despite the threat of rain over their wedding ceremony outside on the beautiful grounds of Whispering Springs Golf Course in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Matt and Laura had a great wedding day. They had a classy but simple celebration with family and friends, cozy and warm, with a dance party to finish!

They were so grateful for being able to celebrate with their family and friends, Laura was particularly excited about dancing at the reception :) Matt really enjoyed their delicious wedding cupcakes!

Laura shares a bit of their engagement story: “We were moving into our new place together, and took the first haul of stuff over together. I wanted to unload the car right away, but Matt told me I should go in and look around first. So I did, but completely missed the flowers and card that he had planted on the fireplace mantel. Poor guy had to tell me to read the card, which talked about how important I was to him and how he wanted to spend his life with me. I turned around and he went down on a knee and proposed.”
